Haia

Hey you came, and we're glad you did.

Hi I'm Sarah

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the beautiful

Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. So, as you can probably imagine, the great outdoors was a huge part of my childhood. If we weren't climbing mountains, we were swimming in the rivers or camping in the woods. Fast forward to the present day, and nothing much has changed.  Danielle calls me 'experienced', and I suppose I am in terms of time spent outdoors, but in terms of actual quantifiable skills such as navigation, experienced I am not. I usually take the "I'll just wing it" approach and hope for the best. Despite this, I have completed multiple long-distance walking routes, including the Offa's Dyke National Trail, the Beacons Way and, very recently, the East Highland Way. With Danielle's childlike enthusiasm and my rusty navigation skills, we make an interesting, and probably rather entertaining, adventuring duo.

And yes, you guessed it, I'm Danielle

I am the newest to most of the adventuring malarky, Sarah is the one who has helped to introduce me to more of these things. I moved to South Wales originally to study Computer Forensics at University, I was a huge nerd, the kind who did 24/48hr gaming marathons as my idea of fun, I was completely absorbed in the gaming world. I spent a lot of my life in front of a screen living in a fantasy world rather than trying to create my fantasy in our world. I had very little idea of the beauty this world has to offer, as I have not travelled much, but also did not care much to see it at the time. Fast forward to my 4th year in university, I bought myself a mountain bike and life changed drastically for the better. I was introduced to the outdoors; gaming took a back seat, and I haven’t looked back since.
